Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, after return of BH delegation from the official visit to Serbia, said that this visit talks about the need to put the good-neighborly relations in the first place, which will continue to lead to the construction of peace and stability and that it is a continuation of good relations between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Serbia.
He confirmed that they mostly talked about economics during the visit.
“We mostly discussed the economy, further development of economic relations, because we believe that there is a lot of space to improve our foreign trade. Construction of the road infrastructure is the basic precondition for achieving good economic cooperation,” said Zvizdic.
He also believes that sanctions to Milorad Dodik will help BiH on its European path.
I think that these sanctions will help to resolve issues in BiH and the Balkans, because if you have permanent actions contrary to the Dayton postulates and reconciliation in the region, then these sanctions will help such individuals to return to the normal margins of their political activity,” stated Zvizdic.
He assessed that Balkans is additionally burdened “with additional emotion and sometimes ordinary issues in the Balkans gain increasing importance.”
“We have outstanding issues with Serbia, such as border issues, of which 97 % were resolved,” said the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Speaking about the upcoming official visit of the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic to BiH, Zvizdic expressed hope that Nikolic will come with positive messages and that “messages that he had the opportunity to hear from our meeting with Vucic will be a good guideline for our relations.”
When it comes to the work of the ruling coalition and relations within it, Zvizdic said that “we have a coalition of all parties in the Council of Ministers because we have to do our best to fulfill what we have promised to the citizens in one persistent engagement.”
