US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on Thursday evening on his Twitter profile that Amir Zukic, a former federal MP and SDA party secretary-general, is declared undesirable in the United States.

As Pompeo stated, he did it because of “corrupt actions that are charged against him and undermining the rule of law”. According to Pompeo, he will also be banned from entering the United States, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

Amir Zukic and several other people are currently being tried in the Municipal Court in Sarajevo on charges of illegal employment mediation in public companies.

In addition to Zukic, the indictment also charges Asim Sarajlic, Safet Bibic, Nedzad and Senad Traku, Ramiz Karavdic and Esed Dzananovic.
