At the proposal of the B&H Food Safety Agency, and in cooperation with the competent authorities of the entities and the Brčko District, three new regulations on food safety have been introduced.
These are the regulation on chewed meat, semi-finished meat products and meat products, the regulation on the method of analysis of heat-treated milk for human consumption and the regulation on methods of sampling and analysis of edible casein.
With the regulation on method of analysis of heat-treated milk for human consumption, reference methods of sampling and reference methods of the analysis of heat-treated milk intended for human consumption for quality control shall be prescribed, and in compliance with the relevant EU directives.
With the regulation on the method of sampling and analysis of edible caseins, methods for analyzing concentrated (condensed) milk and powdered milk intended for human consumption and methods of sampling for chemical analysis for the monitoring of condensed milk products are determined.
The regulations are in accordance with Directive number 9/1067/EC and Directive number 87/524/EC, which is regulated by the EU.
