Paulo Sousa, the legendary football player of Portugal, arrived last night in Sarajevo to attend the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, of which he is an ambassador.
Sousa is currently the coach of Maccabi from Tel Aviv. He was a member of the so-called “Portugal’s golden generation” and played 11 years for his country. He is one of the few players who played for two different clubs and won the prestigious Champions League. He had success in Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
However, injuries affected his career while he was playing for Espanyol and he decided to retiere when he was 32 years old.
Tomorrow, together with the former team member of B&H Hasan Salihamidžić, he will hang out with B&H media and fans in front of the National Theater and also the autograph sessions and photo shoots with Salihamidžić will take place.
