Sixteen New Cases of Coronavirus Infection confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina

A total of 368 samples were tested in the past 24 hours in the Federation of BiH entity and three samples showed positive for COVID-19, which were al registered in the city of Tesanj, according to the Federal Public Health Institute.

In the Federation of BiH, 37.385 samples have been tested so far, and COVID-19 has been confirmed in 1.082 cases.

Among those infected are 602 women (55.64 percent), 480 men (44.36 percent).

As of today, 942 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, while 101 cases positive for COVID-19 are currently active.

Of the 39 confirmed deaths in the Federation of BiH, 22 were male (56.41 percent) and 17 female (43.59 percent). In terms of age structure, 25 deceased patients (64.1 percent) were over 65 years of age.

In the last 24 hours, 237 laboratory samples were tested in Republika Srpska entity, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 13 people, the entity Institute of Public Health announced today.

They are nine men and four women. Six new patients are from Modriča, three from Doboj and two each from Banja Luka and Kotor-Varoš.

So far, 1.408 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that BiH entity, and a total of 110 people have died of coronavirus related causes.

A total of 904 people recovered and 27.051 were tested.
