The Sarajevo Music Academy in Josipa Stadlera Street got a new look and shone again in a bright yellow color.
The building, protected as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was built at the end of the 19th century, and in recent years it has been in a dilapidated and very poor condition.
Thanks to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Green Economic Development (GED) project, it has now been renovated.
The exterior carpentry was replaced and sound insulation was done and the construction work lasted more than a year.
The renovation project was also supported by the Embassy of Sweden and the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Sarajevo Canton, and partly by the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, the City Administration of Sarajevo and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Federation of BiH.
