Legendary Italian and former Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero thanked the city of Sarajevo via Instagram for the support that Bosnian capital has given Italy in difficult times as the country struggles with the coronavirus, Klix.ba news portal reports.

Exactly ten days ago, Sarajevo decided to send a strong message of support to Italy in the fight against coronavirus by illuminating the City Hall in the colors of this country.

As Del Piero probably did not immediately see this news, that is, when it was made, ten days later he posted on Instagram and thanked Sarajevo for the support he provided to his homeland. Del Piero also thanked other cities for their support.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, 69,176 people have infected in Italy, an increase of 5,249 compared to the figures released yesterday.
