The border between Serbia and BiH will be established by the end of the year, as stated by the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic after his meeting with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik in Belgrade.
The Serbian Committee is already working on establishing the inter-state border and we are hoping that Serbia will have its own proposals, and we also expect the consent from BiH, stated President Vucic at a joint press conference with Dodik.
Vucic noted that Serbia will try to make “constructive suggestions” that will not harm the interests of Serbs and other peoples in BiH”.
Vucic and Dodik also discussed some infrastructural projects, the construction of the bridge between Ljubovije and Bratunac, as well as the highways that would connect BiH and Serbia on whose routes exist some disputes within BiH, whether to build it via Tuzla and Bijeljina to the northwest of Serbia, or to connect in the central and southwestern part with the route Sarajevo-Visegrad.
“We believe that we are helping not only Serbs but Bosniaks as well, not only in BiH, but also in central Serbia, but we cannot do anything that BiH does not want,” stated Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic.
