Central Election Commission to consider the Option of Annuling Elections in Srebrenica and Doboj

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet on Thursday, and as Klix.ba has learned, it will, among other things, consider the option of annulling the elections in Srebrenica and Doboj.

Due to a large number of reports related to the regularity of the Srebrenica election process, culminating in today’s action by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the arrest of three people on suspicion of election fraud, the CEC will consider canceling elections in the municipality.

This is also one of the demands of the “My Address: Srebrenica” initiative. The largest number of complaints refers to the abuse of the right to vote, illegal registration of voters for voting abroad, and most of all in Serbia, fraud related to ID cards, ie their issuance, and much more.

The CEC opened an investigation even earlier on suspicion that 200 people in Srebrenica voted with forged ID cards.

When it comes to voting in Srebrenica, a large number of complaints were registered due to delays in delivering mail to voters abroad, and a large number of BH citizens did not even have the opportunity to vote.
