The main topics of the meeting of the Committee for Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which will be held today in Paris, will be the ‘’Revision of the European Convention on Transborder Television’’, ‘’European Convention on Human Rights: Strengthening and Consolidating Training of Judges, Prosecutors and Lawyers’’, and ‘’Administrative Detention’’.
According to the scheduled program, participants will exchange opinions on the proposal related to the implementation of paragraph 13 of ‘’Resolution 1943 (2013): Corruption as a threat to the rule of law’’ and the proposal for information on ‘’Prosecution of the Labor Party in Lithuania’’.
It is scheduled to appoint rapporteurs regarding predatory and targeted killings: the need to preserve human rights, and measures to prevent misuse of the Convention on the transfer of sentenced persons.
Members of the Committee will consider a draft report and vote on the draft resolution entitled ‘’Unacceptable for the murderer of Sergei Magnitsky to go unpunished’’.
At the meeting, the B&H Parliament will be represented by members of the Permanent Delegation of the B&H Parliament to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Milica Marković, announced the B&H Parliament.
