The exhibition “A Day in the World” will open tonight at the B&H Historical Museum.
B&H Historical Museum in cooperation with the Foundation Expressions in Humankind and the Embassy of Sweden in B&H organized this exhibition in B&H.
“A Day in the World” represents the largest 24-hour interactive photo project in history – 15th May 2012 when people from all over the world were invited to document their lives through everyday activities – home, work, travel, food and community. The result of this global photo- documentation is everyday human life. It is about the story of life on earth on an ordinary day. More than 60.000 people, amateur and professional photographers from 165 countries through photos have shared their daily lives.
The exhibition was firstly set up in Stockholm, and in Sarajevo came from the Museum of World Cultures in Gothenburg. The Director of the Foundation Expressions of Humankind from Stockholm Linda Grahn will attend the opening of the exhibition. The newly appointed Swiss Ambassador to B&H Fredrik Schiller will open the exhibition.
The day after the opening in Sarajevo, the exhibition will open in New York, announced the Historical Museum of B&H.
