The Minister of Education and Science of FB&H Damir Mašić said he was honored that employees in education in the FB&H had a chance to take part in a program Pestalozzi for the Council of Europe.
This is a program of additional education and training and improving the educational system, not only for teachers but also for directors, pedagogues and psychologists and all those who have connections with the educational system in B&H.
At the conference on the topic ‘Effects of implementation of Pestalozzi program of the Council of Europe in the FB&H’, Minister Mašić said that 22 teachers and employees in the educational system of the FB&H since 2012 until today have improved their knowledge in various European countries.
‘’B&H signed with the Council of Europe a Convention that provides for such a program, but only the FB&H took part in this program. We hope that colleagues from the RS will exert extra effort and that they will continue to send their educators to trainings’’, said Minister Mašić.
He added that the conference is a chance to hear the experiences of people who have undergone this training and a chance to invite other employees to apply on-line to take part in this program, given that it is a free training in a European country, and one of the conditions is knowing one of the three foreign languages: English, French or German.
