Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić attends the Conference on Security, which was opened yesterday in Munich with strong security measures, together with nearly 600 leading world politicians, heads of states or governments, and experts from around the globe.
The conference was opened by the Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany Ursula von der Leyen and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of France Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The topic in the focus of this year’s 52nd Conference on Security is “Endless conflicts, limited possibilities – weaknesses of the international order”, and some of central topics are the European handling of the refugee crisis, war in Syria, crisis in Ukraine, European security, stability in Sub-Saharan Africa and the control of armament in cyber space.
Prior to the beginning of the conference, Zvizdić said that this is an opportunity for a debate in which it will be clearly said in which direction will the security policy in the world move and in which opinions regarding the global safety will be exchanged.
After the opening ceremony, Zvizdić was to attend the panel discussions on the topics “Terror by ISIL and region stabilization” and “Terror by ISIL and the role of internet”.
On the margins of the conference, the Chairman Zvizdić was to hold a bilateral meeting with the president of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović last evening.
