Nenad Trajković and Ivan Velić are chosen as the assistants of the coach of the B&H basketball team Duško Ivanović.
Trajković is famous in the basketball world, and he has trained top NBA and European basketball players, reports the Internet portal of the B&H Basketball Association.
He has been the assistant coach of Partizan for long time, led Borac from Čačak and Sloga from Kraljeva. He was the trainer of Pivara from Banja Luka in the season 2003/2004, when that team from Banja Luka played in the ABA league. He was the assistant trainer of Phonix Sansa Alvinu Gentryu in the season 2010/2011. Also, he was a scout of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2005.
He has worked with Božidar Maljković in Real Madrid in the development of young players. He has been the trainer of Krka from Novo Mesto and Pepinster from Belgium, the coach of the Latvian team and the coach of Iran.
Ivan Velić is 42 years old and was the trainer of “Široki”, the multiple champions of B&H. He won three league titles in the period from 2009 to 2012, and in the same period won two Cups.
After he left Široki in the middle of last season, he trained Jolly from Šibenik, and this season started to work with that team. He left the team in the middle of the season and returned to the team of Široki.
Velić also played for the B&H team.
