Students of Faculty of Health Studies protest Second Day in a Row in Sarajevo

Students of the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Sarajevo held a protest today, due to the lack of classes at the faculties of the medical group. As a reminder, classes for students at the faculties of the medical group were supposed to start on October 19, but that did not happen.

The day before yesterday, the students decided to ask for their rights on the street, and demand that practical classes be held at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo for all students, as well as that classes be held for students of Dental, Pharmaceutical and Faculty of Health Studies.

The president of the Association of Students of the Faculty of Health Studies – FLORS, Nemanja Jovicic, told “Avaz” that the students were forced to ask for their rights on the street for the second day in a row.

”Unfortunately, we have been put in a position to seek our basic rights on the street. We will not give up, but there is still no solution. We expressed our dissatisfaction in a dignified way. The students have done everything in their power, we have warned the public and institutions, and that is the problem of the teaching process. We prayed to solve the problem, so we had to express our dissatisfaction in this way. We are sorry that we could not bring more students, and that was because of the respect of epidemiological measures,” Jovicic pointed out.
