Recently, those who have smartphones have been able to arrange for taxis in Sarajevo with help from the mojTaxi Touch ‘n’ Go app. This useful application, which is available on iTunes and Google Play, is currently available for mobile phones which work with iOS and Android operating systems and was developed by VMK MEDIA, in cooperation with Sarajevo Taxi and BH Telecom.
All you need to do is download the application on your smart phone and register a valid e-mail address. Once you’ve activated the app, all of your calls, as well as all of the taxis you have taken while using mojTaxi Touch ‘n’ Go, will remain in your user profile.
When using the application, you can make calls in one of two ways: you can automatically call the nearest available vehicle or manually choose any available taxi, which is indicated by green pins on the map.
Calls are made through the Internet, meaning that as long as you are logged into the network via Wi-Fi, you won’t have any telephone expenses. Also, you’ll have free access to Wi-Fi in all taxis that are members of the mojTaxi system.
