Seven Suspects arrested for War Crimes against Civilians

Acting on the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska and MoI of Tuzla Canton, arrested seven people due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of “war crime against civilians” and war crime against prisoners of war.

The arrests were made in Tuzla and Sapna this morning, SIPA said.

After the criminal investigation in the SIPA premises, the persons deprived of their liberty will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for further jurisdiction within the legal deadline.
