According to the measurements of the Air Visual station, Sarajevo is today on the fourth place in the world list of the most polluted cities.
Air quality in the BiH capital was assessed as “unhealthy”, with an air quality index (AQI) of 188.
Sarajevo was at the top of this list last night at 9 pm, with an AQI of as much as 320.
At the top of the list is currently Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), whose AQI is 288, followed by Lahore (Pakistan), Dhaka (Bangladesh), then Sarajevo, and in fifth place is Krakow (Poland).
Belgrade and Warsaw are also on the list of the ten most polluted cities in the world.
