Within the official visit to Hungary, Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazovic, gave a lecture at the University of Pecs, where he spoke about the position and relationship of Bosniak Muslims towards the identity of Europeans.
Reisu-l-ulema Kavazovic, within the official visit to Hungary, gave a lecture at the University of Pecs, where he talked about the unique organization of Muslim Bosniaks who are “Ummah in small” trough the Islamic Community. He said that Bosniaks have experience of keeping religious authority and his authentic merits of the Islamic tradition and practice.
“By this combination of tradition and democratic procedures, the Islamic community is known as the best organized religious community, especially when it comes to Europe, which presents the will and consciousness of Muslims through its institutions and procedures,” said Kavazovic, among other things.
He emphasized that members of Islamic religion in BiH, Bosniaks, do not have a complex because they are Muslims and Europeans, and that they are willing to learn and they believe that others should learn from them too.
Kavazovic previously met with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, with whom he talked about the position of Muslims in that country. Besides the lecture at the University of Pecs, Kavazovic led the Friday prayer in Hasan Pasha Mosque as well.
