PROTESTI U SARAJEVU:NEFORMALNA GRUPA GRAÐANA POZIVA NA PRVI PLENUM U SARAJEVUOne of the participants of the first Plenum meeting of the citizens of Sarajevo Nidžara Ahmetašević told journalists that the people who gathered together for the Plenum had their demands, which they emphasized in the last several days during the protests.

‘’Around 20 citizens decided to try to somehow articulate all the demands of the citizens. I am glad for tonight’s Plenum because there were many citizens and this is a sign that people in this country are ready for democracy. This was democracy in action’’, said Ahmetašević.

She said that this was a long and painful process that needs time, but citizens are headed in the right direction, and they repeated their social-economic requirements. They are demanding that politicians to either solve their problems or to resign.

The unemployed, war veterans, retirees, students and all those who are not satisfied with their status in society attended the Plenum.

It was announced that the protests will take place every day at noon in front of the B&H Presidency building.
