The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić gave a speech at the 6th congress of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), speaking on the resolution of the primary objectives of economic policy and development policy, stating that the period of economic and social reform was never more favorable.
“The low level of economic growth brings a need for structural reforms aimed at the establishment and facilitation of macroeconomic stability, increase in the competitiveness of the economy and creating a better environment for economic growth, which leads to an increase in the number of employees,” said Novalić.
To achieve these objectives it is necessary to implement a series of economic measures, says Novalić, including reducing the burden of public spending and improving the business environment, all of which can be achieved with the cooperation of all levels of government.
Among other things, he stressed that the SDA will support establishing a credit arrangement with international financial institutions, but he stressed that he does not advocate the increase of VAT taxes, adding that the SDA is advocating labor market reform.
Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović in his address to deputies reviewed the comprehensive constitutional reform which will be advocated by the SDA, but within the Dayton Accords, expressing expectation that everyone will support it.
Minister for Veterans’ Affairs FBiH Salko Bukvarević presented the goals of the SDA in the area of veterans and disabled persons, announcing that it will insist on continuous supervising of the enforcement of regulations which ensured the rights of the veteran population.
