The Italian group “Olip” is finalizing the works in another facility in Travnik where 200 employees are expected to be hired. It is an investment worth 5 million KM. In the new facility for the footwear production eight production lines will be set.
So far, the group “Olip” has directly invested about 25 million KM, and this new investment is worth about 5 million KM. The facility itself has cost 2.5 million KM.
The facility “Olip – Bosna” in Travnik has employed 1.180 employees directly in production, and indirectly, this group has 27 smaller facilities, in which another 1.000 employees work. Last year, “Olip – Bosna” produced 1.5 million pairs of shoes and during the first six months of this year, 802.475 pairs of shoes are produced. About 97 percent of the footwear produced here goes to the markets of the European Union, United States and Canada.
