The BIH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić and the Hungarian Minister of Internal Affairs Sandor Pinter spoke in Istanbul yesterday.
They both agreed on the excellent cooperation between the two countries and the Ministries in the area of security and strengthening the security environment, and the Hungarian Minister emphasized that in his country there is no problem with BiH citizens or with false asylum seekers.
Radončić requested the support of Hungary in maintaining the policy that BiH citizens could cross the Croatian border with their ID cards even after Croatia enters the EU on 1 July.
The Hungarian Minister of Internal Affairs practically promised that Hungary would be among the countries of the EU, and it is necessary to have a positive decision from 27 states that would accept Croatia’s proposal to continue the border crossing with ID cards.
