Hanan Hadžajlić, student of flute at the Music Academy in Sarajevo, will be a participant in one of the most prestigious world flute competitions, which will take place from 12 to 18 December in Haifa and Nazareth, Israel.
She is a fourth year student at the department for wind instruments and accordion, for flute in the class of professor Sakib Lačević at the Music Academy in Sarajevo, and in several days she will represent B&H in this international flute competition.
Out of the large number of young flutists who entered this competition, 28 from the entire world were chosen (China, Germany, Estonia, Czech Republic, Korea, Columbia, Slovenia, Russia, Israel), and B&H has its representative for the first time.
The competition will be held in three stages, and 28 competitors will carry out performances for the flute from different stylistic periods, from baroque to contemporary music.
This is one more in a series of international successes from the flute classes of professor Sakib Lačević at the Music Academy in Sarajevo.
Minister Ivica Šarić and the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Canton Sarajevo have fully supported and facilitated her departure to the competition.
