Final Conference Tomorrow of Two MDG-F Programs in Sarajevo

sarajevo_viewThe final conference of two MDG-F programs “Improving cultural understanding in BiH” and the “Program of Employment and Retention of Young People”, where the results will be presented, will be held on Wednesday, 19 June in the building of the UN in Sarajevo.

There will be an address by the UN Coordinator to BIH Yuri Afanasiev, Minister of Civil Affairs of BIH Sredoje Nović, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to BiH Maria Aurora Mejia Errasquin.

During the last three and a half years, these two programs have been realized in BiH, and supported by the Fund to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

The Spanish government financed it with 10 million dollars, with the goal to strengthen national ownership of reaching the Millennium Development Goals as part of UN reforms.
