FBiH – Increase in Industry Production in September Comparison to August

industrijska proizvodnjaThe total seasonally adjusted industrial production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina increased in September 2014 by 2.7 percent in comparison to August.

In September 2014 in comparison to September 2013, the industrial production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a 1.3 percent decrease, the FBiH Statistics Institute reports.

There was a 45.8 percent increase in September 2014 in the production of durable goods for wide consumption in comparison to August 2014. Also, there was an increase in non-durable consumer goods by 5.5, capital goods by 4.5, intermediate goods by 2.3 and 0.1 percent regarding energy products.

In September 2014 compared to the same month in 2013, production of intermediate goods and durable consumer goods increased by 9.4 percent, while non-durable consumer goods increased by 8.2 percent, while production of capital goods decreased by 16.9 percent and energy by 10.8 percent.
