Farmers from BiH in the Visit to BIOFACH 2015 Fair

Visit_to_BIOFACH_fairFederation of Association of Organic Farmers of FBIH and Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA, in the cooperation with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and within the project “Environment friendly, new organic approach to the agriculture in the border regions of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina- ENO Agri“ that is financed by the European Commission within the CBC IPA program, have organized the study visit of organic farmers from BiH to BIOFACH organic food fair 2015 in Nuremberg (Germany), which is held from 11th to 14th February 2015.

In the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, besides the organizator, is five individual users of project ENO Agro and representatives of following companies: “Halilovic d.o.o“, “Smrcak d.o.o“, “Andelic d.o.o“, O.D. Birat, “Basta“, “Bas-basta“, O.P. Halilovic, Beekeeping “CAIC“ and “Velagic“.

Within the visit, tour to the examples of successful organic farms in BiH, Serbian and EU is planned, and the presence to the Assembly of the South East Europe Organic Network (SEEON) which will be held on 12th of February 2015.

Otherwise, the aim of the ENO Agri project is improving of the competitiveness of cross-border rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia through the improvement of agriculture, as well as through the strengthening of the organic production and building human and material capacities in the sector of organic production.

Project ENO Agri is realized on the Sarajevo macro region, as well as on the eligible area of the IPA program of cross-border coordination of BiH and Serbia, that is on the following municipalities: Brcko District, Gradacac, Doboj Istok, Gracanica, Srebrenik, Celic, Lopare, Ugljevik, Donji Zabar, Domaljevac-Samac, Modrica, Orasje, Pelagicevo, Petrovo, Sapna, Srebrenica, Samac, Sekovici, Teocak, Tuzla, Vlasenica, Vukosavlje, Zvornik, Zivinice, Trnov RS,Istocna Ilidza, Istocno Novo Sarajevo, Vogosca, Istocni Stari Grad, Vares, Visok, Fojnica, Visegrad, Rogatica, Sokolac, Pale, Pale Praca, Novo Gorazde, Rudo, Cajnice, Gorazde, Foca Ustikolina, Foca, Kalinovik, Trnovo, Hadzici, Ilidza, Novi Grad Sarajevo, Stari Grad Sarajevo, Ilijas, Breza, Kiseljak, Kresevo, Olovo, Sarajevo Centar, Novo Sarajevo.
