Exhibition of drawings of Ismet Mujezinović in Zvono

imExhibition of drawings of Ismet Mujezinović from the private collection of his son Ismar Mujezinović will be opened on Friday, 17 May in the café gallery ‘Zvono’ in Sarajevo, reports radiosarajevo.ba

On that occasion there a short film ‘Kafana’ that talks about the life of Mujezinović will be shown.

The exhibition will be closed on 1 June 2013.

Mujezinović is one of the most important representatives of contemporary arts from the area of former Yugoslavia.

Ismet Mujezinović was born in Tuzla on 2 December 1907 and after finishing the craft of photography, he starts studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. In 1931 he went to Wien and then to Paris where he painted portraits in coffee shops of Mount Parnass.

He died on 7 January 1984.
