Consumer Price Index in BiH Rose by .1 Percent

consumerThe Consumer Price Index in BiH in March rose by .1 percent in relation to February, said the Director of the BiH Agency for Statistics Zdenko Milinović.

At a conference for journalists, he said that in March the rise was marked for clothing and shoes by 1.2 percent, recreation and culture by .5 percent, alcoholic drinks and tobacco by .2 percent, and transportation by .1 percent in comparison to February.

He added that lower prices are in housing, water, electrical energy, gas and other fuels by .4 percent and health by .3 percent.

He said that the annual inflation in March 2013 in BiH was .6 percent. The biggest average price increase was in alcoholic beverages and tobacco by .6 percent, food and non-alcoholic drinks by 1.4 percent, education by 1.8 percent, housing, water, electrical energy, gas and other fuels by 1.1 percent.
