Aleksandar Đurić, the great Bosnian goal keeper, also known as the best shooter of the league competitions, ended his career at the age of 44. He played his last match on Friday.
Đurić started his career in his hometown Doboj, by playing for the FC Sloga. In 1999 he came to Singapore and became one of the biggest football legends in that country.
This experienced shooter scored 376 goals in the Singapore league, and when he obtained their citizenship, he debuted for their national team and played there 53 matches and scored 24 goals.
