The “Damar” album of Amira Medunjanin is ranked among the 40 best in the world for 2017, in  the choice of the Transglobal World Music Chart.

This is a great recognition not only for Amira and her art, but also for the music of Bosnia and Herzegovina and our sevdalinka, which is thus included in the very top of the current offer in the genre of world music.

We remind you, the album “Damar” was recorded in the Real World studio by Peter Gabriel, while Amira collaborated with guitarists Ante Gelo and Bosko Jovic , keyboardist and percussionist Bojan Zulfikarpasic and bass player Zvonimir Sestak.

Besides seven traditional songs, there are two author songs on the album – Pjevat ćemo šta nam srce zna (Damir Imamovic) and title song Damar (Bosko Jovic compiled with the lyrics by Marija Karaula Krznaric).
