The Days of Bosnia and Herzegovina-American Academy of Art and Science BHAAAS, will be held from June 21 to 24, in Jahorina. More than a thousand participants from 24 countries are expected to attend this event.
The President of BHAAAS, Nirvana Pistoljevic, noted that more than 375 lecturers will participate in a total of 27 symposia, roundtables and panel discussions at this largest scientific gathering in the Balkans.
Pistoljevic sees the importance of the Days of BHAAAS in the exchange of knowledge of scientific diaspora with scientists in BiH.
This year, in addition to scientific lectures from different fields, a rich cultural content is expected at this event, and it will include the exhibition of works of Safet Zec, the concert of the Sarajevo Philharmonic, and many others.
Minister for Human Rights and Refugees, Semiha Borovac, noted the importance of the Academy, and especially emphasized that its members are gladly transferring the knowledge to their colleagues in our homeland.
It will be an opportunity to present the latest achievements from various scientific fields as well.
Students and young researchers are especially invited to attend the Days of BHAAAS, since it was noted from the Academy that they do not have to live in the United States to be its members.
The BHAAAS was founded back in 2007 in North America, and its members are renowned doctors of science and researchers, professionals in different fields and artists of BH origin who live in the territory of North America (Canada and USA) as well as in Western Europe. The BHAAAS is one of the largest and most important organizations of the academic diaspora of BiH, according to the number of their members and their activities.
