Yesterday at the White House, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic met with Deputy Assistant to the US President for National Security Fionna Hill and Director of the National Security Council for the Western Balkans Mark Tervakoski.
They discussed the current situation in BiH and the Western Balkans. Chairman Zvizdic introduced Hill and Tervakoski with the economic and political situation in BiH and its objectives on the Euro-Atlantic path, as well as other projects and reforms that are implemented in our country.
“It is important to say that the message from the meeting with Fionna Hill, as well as from the previous meeting with Mr. Shannon, were full of optimism and continuous support of the United States to the sovereignty and integrity of BiH and our crucial and basic objectives regarding the EU and NATO, strengthening the rule of law, economic development, strengthening of the regional cooperation and creating a positive perspective for BiH,” noted Zvizdic after the meeting.
On the meeting were expressed views that the cooperation between BiH and the United States is very positive and in optimistic continuity and that the US will remain committed to the objectives of BiH, thus the EU and NATO integrations.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of BiH in the United States Haris Hrle, as announced by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
