Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic today in Podgorica, at the sidelines of the Summit of the Adriatic Charter, spoke with the premier of Serbia Ana Brnabic about the bilateral relations of our two countries.
Chairman Zvizdic said that good political relations between BiH and Serbia very important for the stability and development of the region. He highlighted that it’s necessary to work on solving all open questions by way of high-level meetings and realizing joint projects aimed at connecting the infrastructure and growing the economy. He added that Serbia and BiH share common European aspirations, which are a good basis for the development of future, joint projects.
Chairmain Zvizdic also invited premier Brnabic to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Meeting with the Montenegrin prime minister
Zvizdic also met with the prime minister of Monetenegro Dusko Markovic, with whom he spoke about the bilateral relations and increasing regional cooperation.
The two prime ministers agreed that there are no open questions between BiH and Montenegro and that the two countries’ cooperation can be an example for others in the region. They emphasized that there is still space for more quality economic and cultural cooperation at the benefit of both countries.
They highlighted the need to create more joint projects, especially in the segment of communications in order to increase economic development through sped up movement of people and goods.
Chairman Zvizdic said that BiH has already fulfilled a good part of the conditions for activation of MAP and that activation of MAP would be a major step for BiH.
Prime minister Markovic highlighted that the visit of the U.S. vice president Mike Pence is very important for Montenegro, as well as for the entire Western Balkan region. He also highlighted that Montenegro is with BiH in every sense of the world and that Montenegro’s support for BiH’s euroatlantic integrations is unquestionable.
Chairmain Zvizdic congratulated the Montenegrin prime minister Dusko Markovic and the citizens of Montenegro on full membership in NATO and highlighted that Montenegro is an important factor for regional stability and promotion of reconciliation and political dialogue in the region.
