Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H, Denis Zvizdic, marked the arrival of the German Chancellor, Angel Merkel, to B&H, as the most important visit our country could have in this moment.
“It was a constructive, very positive and very encouraging visit for B&H and for all levels of government. This was a good opportunity to introduce her with the four key process that are currently being implemented by the Council of Ministers, which are the process of the European integrations and obstructions on that path, economic reforms and the development projects, rule of law and nurturing the regional, neighborly relations. We talked the most about the field of economy and there we met her with project nominated by B&H within the Berlin conference“, said Zvizdic.
The chancellor emphasized that she expects signing of the reform economic agenda as soon as possible, related to which there are still some issues to be harmonized, and the Chairman of the CM considers that it will be done in the next few days.
“When it comes to the processes of the European integrations, we presented her a plan to, if there were no unreasonable or deliberate obstructions of any level of B&H, submit a membership application, and that means that in 2017, we could get a status of a candidate. It is the final goal that is putting us back to the focus and to the European integrations“, emphasized Zvizdic.
Chancellor expressed her satisfaction with the adopted strategies for the fight against the corruption and criminal.
“Her message is that the European perspective of B&H is certain and that we must do our part of the job“, said Zvizdic and invited all levels of the government to do their part of the job in order for B&H to move towards the EU together with other countries of the region.
