Legendary Swedish Bosnian-born striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will soon enter his twentieth year of a professional football career, will receive a large statue in his native Malmo.
The statue was built by the Football Federation of Sweden and will be unveiled next month.
It will be 2.7 meters high and weigh 500 pounds.
The popular Ibra has stated that he is very happy about this honor.
“I am glad the statue will be in Malmo, because that’s where it all began and my heart will remain forever. Usually, a statue is built when you die, and I still feel alive. But now I know that when I die, something will remain behind me forever,” said Ibrahimovic.
