At the beginning of August, shooting of the trilogy Winnetou, remake of cult movies about the Indian chief of the tribe of Apaches and his friend Old Shatterhand, created by German writer Karl May in his novels, started. Numerous actors from our region, among whom is the young BH actor, Rijad Gvozden, will act in the movie.
German production company Rat Pack and the Croatian one, Aleks Production, are shooting three new sequels of the story lasting 90 minutes each. The first movie of Winnetou saga will be broadcasted at the end of the next year. A famous actor Nik Xhelilaj is starring Winnetou, and the role of Old Shatterhand went to Wotan Wike Mohring.
Directing was entrusted to the renowned German director, Phillip Stölz, who became famous by the film adaption of “Healer“, the first part of the successful trilogy of Noah Gordon. Shooting will last 85 days at location from the northern to the central Dalmatia.
Our Rijad Gvozden is starring a conductor and is for several days in Croatia where he is shooting scenes.
Gvozden is a young actor who gained sympathies of the public with the monodrama “Mora od odmora“, and starred in numerous movies including “Looking for Europe“ by Danis Tanovic, “Bosko and Admira“ done by the Japanese production, and had the main role in a Montenegrin movie “A color film“. Also, he is engaged in directing and production and until now, he made several movies and starred in numerous theater plays.
