Last night, a very successful concert of young artists from BiH was held in full Weill hall of Carnegie Hall in New York.
The audience was mesmerized by pianists Dragan Opančić and Naomi Druškić, clarinettist Vedran Tuce, bass bariton Ivan Šarić; American guitarist Tali Roth and pianist Simone Baron.
Works of BiH composers Alisher Sijarić, Igor Karač, Dino Rašidbegović and Đorđe Jovančić were performed by the orchestra.
Ambassador of BiH in the USA Mirsada Čolaković opened the concert, and expressed her satisfaction that BiH artists are sending a positive image of our country to the world. She added that BiH diplomats have very successful relations with the US representatives in the UN Security Council.
UN Deputy Secretary General Jan Eliasson said that BiH has remained a symbol of unity for the entire world and that that’s the heritage we leave behind to young people.
The concert was organised by American-Bosnian Foundation, and many important people from the world of diplomacy, journalists and BiH citizens who live in the USA attended the concert.
