[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazovic, called the youth to follow the centuries-old “version” of Islam and resist the efforts of radicalism at yesterday’s Eid khutbah (sermon). His message was transferred by numerous international media.
Media from all around the world transferred the message from Reis’s khutbah, emphasizing that he said that during the Muslim holiday of Eid, young people are exposed to unknown and distant learnings for which they think they are in the spirit of Islam, but in fact they are facts without grounds.
Parts of the khutbah were broadcasted by the respected Washington Post, ABC News, the Daily Mail and others.
“Muslims from the Middle East often criticize those in BiH by characterizing them as too liberal, and they are trying to correct their most common mistakes over the Internet. Until today, a total of 188 Bosnian Muslims went to fight in Syria, 50 of them were killed and 47 returned to BiH. The Syrians continue to urge the Muslims from BiH to kill Christians and liberal Muslims, including the main imam,” as reported by ABC News.
In his Eid khutbah, according to international media, Reis ul Ulema also emphasized that we live in a time in which good and evil are mixed.
“This is the time in which good and evil are mixed together. We are in an extreme fight for survival on everyday basis,” said Kavazovic.
Besides ABC News, the message of Reis ef. Kavazovic was also reported by the Daily Mail, Washington Post, Daily Star and many other international media.
