Sale of tickets for the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar started today in front of the BBI Center in Sarajevo. The bazaar will be held on December 3 in the hall “Mirza Delibašić” – cultural sports center Skenderija.
Tickets were sold today by wives of ambassadors who are on their mission in BiH. They are the organizers of this year’s bazaar.
In front of the BBI Center today were wife of the British Ambassador to BiH Caroline Ferguson, wife of the Dutch Ambassador to BiH Marietta Kraak, and wife of the Deputy Chief of Mission in the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo Sandra Horowitz.
“It is our pleasure to say that this is the greatest bazaar so far because we already have 40 foreign exhibitors with 60 salesmen. Also, this year we will offer more fun for kids,” said Ferguson.
Ferguson highlighted that all funds spent at the bazaar will be donated to humanitarian organizations that support children in the state of social need, children with special needs, and children without parental care.
Diplomatic Winter Bazaar is the biggest humanitarian event of the year which connects international and local business community in order to enable the citizens of Sarajevo to taste food from all around the world and buy unusual gifts and items, all in one place.
Ticket costs five BAM and entrance is free for children under ten years of age.
