Since the contract of Mehmed Bazdarevic expired with the end of the qualifiers for the World Cup in Russia, the National Football Team of BiH is looking for a new selector.
The Association formed a commission that contacted potential candidates, the public started speculating on their names, and there is even an information that the new selector of our “Dragons” might be the selector of Serbia, Slavoljub Muslin.
“This commission had one meeting so far, at which they determined the criteria that this person has to meet. They had a conversation with several potential candidates for the new selector,” said Elmir Pilav from the Football Association of BiH.
In the next few days, the commission will come up with the final list of candidates for the position of our next selector. The Executive Board will give its opinion on the specific names at a session that is scheduled for November 16. According to the people from the Association, there is a possibility that a new selector might be selected then, but the decision could also be prolonged. They added that the aim of the Association is for the “A” selection of BiH to get the new selector before the New Year.
