The Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH Lars-Gunnar Wigemark commented on yesterday’s vote at the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH on the set of the Excise Law. Namely, the Head of the EU Delegation said that voting made it more difficult to improve infrastructure, attract foreign investment and create new and better jobs in BiH.
“In the time of economic insecurity in BiH and in the region, this billion-euro worth opportunity should not be left easily. I call on all political actors not to shut down the door of the necessary investments and reforms. Bosnia and Herzegovina must not lag behind and lose time on its path to the European Union, while the rest of the region is moving forward” said Wigemark.
