A truck with around 5.500 Eid packets which, after midnight, started a journey from Zenica towards Opatovac, where it is still at the Croatian customs control which it cannot pass because of the chips and flips that are in packets.
This information was confirmed by the president of the Humanitarian organization “IML“ from Zenica, Bilal Isakovic, who added that they do not know how they will share packets given that they cannot enter the camp.
“Since this morning, truck is at the customs control in Croatia and it cannot pass it, allegedly the problems are flips and chips that are in packets. We came to the camp in Opatovac, but we cannot enter it and we will not be able to share packets if they come. The additional problem is that taking photographs and recording is forbidden, but that is a problem of a great world media houses as well“, said Isakovic.
Volunteers who arrived to Opatovac early this morning are returning to Tovarnik and Vinkovci where they will wait for the arrival of the truck, if it manage to pass the Croatian customs control, and then will make a plan for the further development of the situation in order for Eid packets to arrive to the hands of those whom they are intended for.
