The U.S. Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack is in an official visit to the Una-Sana Canton. Today she spoke with the Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton Husein Rošić, ministers in the Government, and representatives of the USK Assembly.
Representatives of executive and legislative authority of the USK informed the Ambassador Cormack about political situation in the canton, the work of the Assembly, current activities and problems, and many other issues.
“The Ambassador told us that she recognized that this canton stabilized its political and economic situation. She also told us that she saw safety in terms of investing in our canton. We told her that we want to welcome new capital and investments in this region and prevent the departure of young people,” said Rošić.
Ambassador Cormack said that the U.S. companies are ready to invest in this canton which is, according to Rošić, very encouraging.
Prior to talking to the leaders of the canton, Cormack visited the gem of Krajina – waterfall Štrbački buk.
“Visiting the Štrbački buk, one of the pearls of the National Park Una, was the best way to start our visit to the Una-Sana Canton,” it was published on the official Facebook page of the U.S. Embassy.
