The Municipality “Novi Grad“, this year as well, is funding the purchase of meals for pupils with a weaker financial status at primary schools from this municipality, allocating 110.000 BAM from its budget for this purpose, ensuring meals for around 1.000 pupils.
On that occasion, a contract for the purchase and delivery of meals was signed yesterday with representatives of the company Sprind d.d. in the Municipality building.
The contract has been signed by the deputy Chief of the Municipality “Novi Grad Sarajevo“ for education, culture, sport and local integral development, Elvir Resic, and the director of Sarajevo Food Industry – Sprind, Memnun Trako. The official signing of the contract was attended by the commercial director of Sprind d.d., Milenko Banovic and the principals of primary schools from the area of municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo.
The commercial director of Sprind d.d., Milenko Banovic, added that fifteen different products of Sprind d.d. will be available to pupils from the salty and sweet program, so children will have different meal every day. The meal is adapted to the age of children in quantity as well as by the calorie value and the content of the meal, as was announced by the Municipality Press Office.
