The House of Liberators of the City of Sarajevo was officially opened on Zuc Hill, which was part of the marking ceremony of the Day of Defense of the Municipality of Novi Grad and the anniversary of the battle for Zuc Hill. After that followed a joint iftar dinner organized for 3,000 people.
This gathering was attended by the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Novi Grad, Semir Efendic.
The House of Liberators was officially opened by daughters of Safet Zajko and Enver Sehovic, (Alma Zajko and Dalila Sehovic), heroes of the defense of Sarajevo and the battle for Zuc Hill. Almost all exponents that are exhibited in the House of Liberators are from Zuc Hill. They are mostly remains of grenades, shells, weapons and other items that were preserved by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Novi Grad, and part of them were brought by the soldiers who took part in the defense of the city as well as the locals.
The Municipal Awards of Recognition for the Defense of Novi Grad Sarajevo were handed over to the Commander of the Second Knights Brigade Esad Pelki Brzi and the Security Service of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.
