A strong earthquake hit the area of Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, confirmed the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.
According to information released by the Euromediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the quake had a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale, 19 kilometers north of Zenica.
“It was felt very strong in Zenica”, “It shook well”, “Short and clear”, “Ten seconds of intense trembling” – these are just some of the testimonies of persons who felt the earthquake in that part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The earthquake was registered at 13:28 local time.
