The traditional and eight in a row Bled Forum began yesterday in this Slovenian town.
The forum has grown into a successful platform of strategic high-level dialogue on key issues and problems facing Europe and the world in the 21st century.
On behalf of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, the former B&H Foreign Minister and today official in the UN Sven Alkalaj.
In a statement to Fena before the departure to Bled, the President of the European Movement in B&H Predrag Praštalo, whose organization received an invite from the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Slovenia Karl Erjavec, said that yesterday’s topics were devoted to youth issues, and that today’s issues would be based on the European economic crisis and the further development of the EU, and on EU and Russian relations.
Praštalo said that on the daily agenda there would be topics of huge interest for B&H regarding the further development of the EU in the Balkans after Croatia’s accession to the EU, and the relations between the EU and Turkey.
