Reduction of direct costs for undertakings and citizens in the amount of 642,275 BAM and indirect costs in excess of 5 million BAM, Srebrenik Municpality became one of the most favourable locations for investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In cooperation with International Finance Corporation, with new decisions on reducing taxes and reimbursement for businessmen, Srebrenik has implement the Project of Improving the Business Environment and Competitiveness in BIH. The aim of the project which was worth 138 000 BAM is to improve business environment and to create new jobs and increase transparency of regulative through implementation of Electronic register for all administrative works which was published on the website of the municipality.
‘At the municipal land we’ll soon built a new business area, with fully furnished infrastructure, and the land will be sold at very affordable prices. Our wish is to attract to Srebrenik as many investors as possible in order to create new jobs’, said Head of Municipality Sanel Buljubašić,
The recent savings are the result from a reduction in taxes and fees, change of documentation forms, and obtaining documentation under official duty while indirect savings come from reduced terms for municipal response to the requests. With this, Srebrenik has made a big step forward in creating a better business environment at the local level, and has introduced fast, transparent and cheap process of business activities that are applied in the EU which gave the contribution to strategic priority of accession of BiH to the EU.
