The Mahalbasic family returned to Janja near Bijeljina in 2002. A six-member family with three children survive from the 105 BAM. The oldest member of the family is the 63-year-old Ramiz Mahalbasic who spent 18 months in the Batkovic concentration camp during the aggression in BiH, where he went through the greatest torture, Patria News Agency reports.
Ramiz suffers from heart disease, and one of his three children is also ill. Ramiz’s son Sefik has no permanent job but sometimes works during the day. Family Mahalbasic invited good people to help them. Their desire is to have a cow in order to be able to sell milk on a nearby market and survive in that way.
This family needs help when it comes to food aswell, and all three children go to school, so they need school supplies as well. They often stay without electricity because they do not have the money to pay the bill.
